The Central Induction Policy (CIP)is the merit formula used by Punjab's Specialized Healthcare & Medical Education Department to rank MBBS/BDS graduates applying for postgraduate residency training — FCPS, MS, MD, and MDS — through the Punjab Residency Program (PRP). Seats in every training programme are offered strictly in order of CIP merit score, so understanding exactly how your score is built matters as much as any single exam result.
