MD Part-I at Shaheed Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto Medical University (SZABMU) is the written gate to a medicine residency: two single-best-answer papers of 100 MCQs each. Paper I tests basic sciences for every discipline; Paper II tests applied medicine across the systems a physician is expected to know. A pass is valid for two years, so the paper is worth sitting prepared.
This QBank follows that structure. Questions are grouped by the exact Paper I and Paper II topics in the SZABMU roadmap, each with an explanation, and the blueprint-weighted mock tests let you rehearse a full paper at the official topic mix. The question set is compiled from recall-style residency-entry MCQ collections and our own review; it is not a copy of any official SZABMU paper.
Built on the official topic weightage
Paper I is weighted Anatomy 30%, Physiology 30%, Pathology 20%, Biochemistry 10% and Pharmacology 10%. Paper II follows the applied-medicine blueprint, from infection and sepsis to ICU care.

- MD Part-I has two papers of 100 single-best-answer MCQs each; Paper I is common to all disciplines and Paper II is applied medicine for Medicine and allied disciplines.
- A candidate must hold an MBBS (or BDS) registered with PMC and one year of house job before applying for the residency programme.
- Part-I validity is two years; a pass makes you eligible to apply online for the Part-II residency programme when SZABMU advertises it.
