Install HighYield on Your Phone

Add HighYield to your home screen to open your question banks in one tap, full-screen, with no browser bar. It takes under a minute and there is no store download. Pick your device below.

Android (Chrome)

  1. Open highyield.pk in Chrome.
  2. Wait a few seconds. A banner saying “Add HighYield to your Home Screen” should appear at the bottom. Tap Install, then confirm.
  3. No banner? Tap the ⋮ menu at the top right, then Install app (or Add to Home screen), then confirm.
  4. The HighYield icon appears on your home screen and in your app drawer.

iPhone and iPad (Safari)

Apple does not allow websites to show an install button, so on iPhone you add it by hand:

  1. Open highyield.pk in Safari.
  2. Tap the Share button (the square with an arrow pointing up) at the bottom of the screen.
  3. Scroll down and tap Add to Home Screen.
  4. Tap Add at the top right. The icon appears on your home screen.

If you use Chrome or another browser on iPhone, the same Share menu works on recent iOS versions. If you do not see Add to Home Screen, open the page in Safari instead.

Desktop (Chrome or Edge)

  1. Open highyield.pk.
  2. Click the install icon at the right end of the address bar (a small monitor with a down arrow), or open the browser menu and choose Install HighYield.
  3. Confirm. HighYield opens in its own window and can be pinned to your taskbar.

The Install Button Does Nothing?

The common causes, and the fix for each:

  • You opened the link inside Instagram, Facebook, TikTok or WhatsApp. Those in-app browsers cannot install websites. Tap the menu and choose Open in Chrome (Android) or Open in Safari (iPhone), then try again.
  • You are on an iPhone. There is no install button on iOS. Use Share, then Add to Home Screen, as shown above.
  • You closed the banner earlier. It stays hidden for 14 days after you dismiss it. Use the browser menu (⋮ on Android) and choose Install app instead.
  • It is already installed. Chrome does not offer to install a site twice. Look for the HighYield icon on your home screen or in your app drawer.
  • An old browser version. Update Chrome or Safari from your app store and reload the page.
  • Private or incognito window. Installing does not work there. Open a normal tab.

Common Questions

Is this a separate app from the Play Store or App Store?

No. HighYield installs straight from your browser as a web app, so there is nothing to download from a store. It opens full-screen from your home screen with its own icon, and uses almost no storage.

Does the installed app work offline?

No. You need an internet connection to load questions, explanations and your progress. Installing only gives you a one-tap shortcut and a full-screen view.

Do I lose my account or progress if I install it?

No. It is the same website, so you sign in with the same account and see the same progress on every device.

How do I remove it?

Press and hold the icon on your home screen and choose Remove or Uninstall, exactly like any other app. Your account is not affected.
