Where Are FPSC Results Published?

All FPSC results are published exclusively on the official website: www.fpsc.gov.pk. Results are available under the "Results" section of the website. FPSC also sometimes publishes results in national newspapers (Dawn, Jang, The News), but the website is always updated first.

Warning: Never trust unofficial websites, WhatsApp messages, or social media posts claiming to have FPSC results before the official announcement. Always verify from www.fpsc.gov.pk.

How to Check Your FPSC Result — Step by Step

1. Go to www.fpsc.gov.pk
2. Click on "Results" in the main menu
3. Find your exam type (CSS Written, CSS MPT, Screening Test, etc.)
4. Select the relevant year and consolidated advertisement number
5. Enter your CNIC number or Roll Number
6. Click "Search" — your result will be displayed

Check FPSC Result by CNIC

Most FPSC result search pages let you search directly by CNIC — enter your 13-digit CNIC number (no dashes) in the search field instead of your roll number. This is the fastest method if you don't have your roll number handy, since your CNIC is linked to your original application.

If you kept your original admission/roll number slip, you can search using your roll number instead. Select your exam type and advertisement number first, then enter the roll number exactly as printed on your slip — extra spaces or leading zeros left out can cause a "no record found" error.

Types of FPSC Results

CSS results are announced in three stages: the MPT (screening) result within 4–6 weeks of the test, the written examination result within 4–6 months, and the final result (after interview) within 2–3 months of interviews concluding. Departmental Screening Test Results

Results for departmental recruitment tests (Assistant Director, Inspector, etc.) are typically announced within 2–4 weeks of the test. Shortlisted candidates are called for interview.

Understanding Your Result

FPSC results typically show one of the following statuses:

• Qualified / Passed: You have cleared this stage and will proceed to the next (interview or final selection)
• Not Qualified / Failed: You did not meet the minimum threshold for this exam
• Recommended: You have been selected for appointment — FPSC will forward your name to the relevant ministry
