Before you rely on this number
- These weightages move — Punjab (UHS) alone has changed its formula more than once in recent admission cycles. Always cross-check against the current prospectus of the authority you are applying to.
- Total marks for Matric and FSc vary by board — use the totals printed on your own result card (Federal boards often differ from provincial boards).
- This tool calculates the academic aggregate only. It does not account for provincial/domicile quotas, self-finance seats, or any additional criteria some universities apply.

Frequently asked questions
How is the MDCAT aggregate calculated?+
Your Matric, FSc and MDCAT (or entry test) percentages are each multiplied by a weight, then added together. For example, under a 10/40/50 formula: (Matric% × 0.10) + (FSc% × 0.40) + (MDCAT% × 0.50).
Why does the formula differ between UHS, NUMS, KMU and Sindh?+
Each province and university runs its own admission process and sets its own weightages by notification. There is no single national aggregate formula — only a single national entry test (PMDC MDCAT) that most of them use as an input.
Does this calculator include quotas or domicile seats?+
No. It calculates your raw academic aggregate percentage only. Quota seats, self-finance seats and overseas/foreign seats follow separate merit lists that this tool does not model.
My authority changed its formula this year — what do I do?+
Select "Custom" and type in the weights from your authority's official notification or prospectus — the calculator will use whatever weights you enter.
What total are Matric and FSc marks usually out of?+
Most Pakistani boards mark Matric and FSc out of 1100 (SSC) and 1100 (HSSC) respectively, but this varies by board — use the total printed on your own result card.
