UHS PGET vs FCPS Part 1 vs SZABMU Part-I: How the Three Entry Routes Differ

Pakistani postgraduate training has several written entry exams run by different bodies. They overlap heavily in content, so preparation for one transfers to the others.

• UHS PGET: run by the University of Health Sciences Lahore; two papers of 100 MCQs; used for induction under the Central Induction Policy.
• FCPS Part 1: run by the College of Physicians and Surgeons Pakistan (CPSP), specialty-specific.
• SZABMU Part-I: run by Shaheed Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto Medical University for its own MD, MS and MDS programmes.
