The Saudi Medical Licensing Exam (SMLE) runs 200 MCQs (including up to 20 unscored pilot questions you can't identify during the exam), split into two sections of 100 questions each, with 120 minutes allotted per section and a 30-minute scheduled break between them — roughly 4 hours 30 minutes total, including the break. The passing score is a scaled 560, set at the 50% mark. Because you can't tell a pilot question from a scored one, the practical strategy is the same either way: treat every question as if it counts.
