Where MCCQE Part 1 Results Appear

The Medical Council of Canada (MCC) releases MCCQE Part 1 results through your physiciansapply.ca account. MCC also announces the general release date for each exam session on mcc.ca, and your detailed Statement of Results typically follows in your account roughly a week after the initial pass/fail notification.

Because timelines can shift session to session, always confirm the current release schedule on MCC's own site rather than relying on a date you saw elsewhere.

About the Pass Score

One detail that catches candidates off guard: the pass score for MCCQE Part 1 is not fixed from year to year. MCC confirmed in an April 2025 announcement that the passing standard can change between sessions as the exam is recalibrated. This means a pass score you find quoted from a previous session — or from a forum post — may not apply to your sitting. Always check mcc.ca directly for the current standard rather than treating any single quoted number as reliable.

If You Haven't Sat the Exam Yet

If you're still preparing, understanding the syllabus and pass-rate trends matters more at this stage than any specific score. See our MCCQE Part 1 syllabus, pass rate, and sample questions guide for what to expect, and practice with HighYield's MCCQE Part 1 question bank to build the subject-level accuracy that actually moves your score.
