MCCQE Part 1 Exam Centres in Pakistan: Full List and 2026 Dates

Where to sit MCCQE Part 1 in Pakistan, which cities have Pearson VUE test centres, how to book your seat, and what to know about scheduling your exam date for 2026.

Can You Sit MCCQE Part 1 in Pakistan?

Yes. MCCQE Part 1 is delivered through Pearson VUE test centres, and Pakistan has multiple Pearson VUE locations. This means eligible candidates can sit the examination without leaving the country, which significantly reduces the cost and logistical burden compared to travelling abroad for the exam.

MCCQE Part 2, however, is an in-person clinical skills examination conducted only at MCC-approved sites in Canada. It cannot be taken in Pakistan.

MCCQE Part 1 Exam Centres in Pakistan - City List

Pearson VUE operates authorised test centres in the following Pakistani cities where MCCQE Part 1 can be scheduled:

  • Karachi - multiple Pearson VUE authorised centres available
  • Lahore - multiple Pearson VUE authorised centres available
  • Islamabad / Rawalpindi - Pearson VUE authorised centres in the capital region
  • Peshawar - availability subject to active centre status; verify before booking
  • Multan - availability subject to active centre status; verify before booking

The exact list of active centres, their addresses, and real-time seat availability are shown when you log in to your MCC candidate portal and proceed to book your examination through Pearson VUE. Do not rely on third-party lists of centre addresses - centres can open, close, or change addresses, and the Pearson VUE booking system always reflects the current status.

How to Book Your MCCQE Part 1 Seat in Pakistan

  1. Register with the MCC and obtain your candidate number through the MCC online portal at mcc.ca.
  2. Apply for MCCQE Part 1 and pay the examination fee. Once your application is approved, MCC issues you an eligibility period - typically a window of several months during which you can schedule your exam.
  3. Log in to the Pearson VUE website using your MCC candidate credentials and select your preferred test centre from the list of available locations in Pakistan.
  4. Choose a date and time slot. Available dates are shown in real time; popular centres in Karachi and Lahore can fill up weeks in advance, particularly in peak periods.
  5. Confirm your booking and download your appointment confirmation. Bring this along with valid photo identification on examination day.

MCCQE Part 1 Exam Dates 2026

Unlike traditional once-or-twice-yearly examinations, MCCQE Part 1 operates on a continuous testing model - it is available year-round at Pearson VUE centres, subject to seat availability at your chosen location. There are no fixed national examination dates for 2026; you choose a date that works for you within your eligibility window.

This is a significant advantage for Pakistani candidates: you can schedule your examination around clinical rotations, PMDC registration milestones, visa applications, or personal commitments. However, it also means preparation discipline is entirely self-directed - there is no fixed deadline forcing you to be ready.

How Far in Advance Should You Book?

For Karachi and Lahore centres, booking four to six weeks in advance is advisable. During periods of high demand - typically after major MCC announcements or immigration policy changes that drive a surge in MCCQE applications - seats can fill up faster. If your preparation is on track, do not delay booking out of excessive caution; having a confirmed date is one of the most effective motivators to maintain preparation intensity.

What to Bring to the Exam Centre

  • Your Pearson VUE appointment confirmation (printed or on your phone)
  • Two forms of valid identification - your CNIC plus a passport or driver's licence are accepted
  • The name on your ID must match exactly the name on your MCC candidate registration

No personal items, books, notes, mobile phones, or electronic devices are permitted in the examination room. Pearson VUE centres provide lockers for your belongings.
