Key Takeaways for ECAT 2026 Preparation
- Mathematics is half the paper — spend proportionally more time on it
- Calculus (integration and differentiation) is the single highest-yield ECAT topic
- Organic Chemistry and Modern Physics / Nuclear Physics repeat every year
- English is 10 marks of "free marks" — do not neglect it, as it requires minimal preparation
- Negative marking means you should only guess when you can eliminate 2 of the 4 options
