DHA Exam Mock Tests: How to Do Timed Practice That Works
How to use DHA mock exams: simulate 150 questions in 3 hours, schedule your mocks in the last weeks, and turn your results into a revision plan.

The DHA General Practice exam is 150 MCQs in 3 hours. The time includes check-in and the tutorial, so your real working time is a little less. A mock exam is the only way to find out if you can sustain that pace.
What your mock should look like
- 150 questions, one sitting, a visible countdown.
- Single best answer, no negative marking: practise answering every question.
- No pausing, no looking things up, answers hidden until the end.
- Spread across the official DHA topic list: chronic disease, acute medicine, pediatrics, women's health, emergencies, surgery, psychiatry, eye/ENT, dermatology, epidemiology, family medicine concepts and screening.
When to take mocks
| When | Purpose |
|---|---|
| 3 weeks out | Diagnostic: find your weak areas |
| 10 days out | Check progress after targeted revision |
| 4 to 5 days out | Final dress rehearsal |
How to read your score
The pass mark is 60% for General Practice, but DHA does not show you your real score, so give yourself a buffer: aim for 70% or more in your last two mocks. If you land between 60% and 70%, you are borderline, so spend the remaining days on your weakest topic groups.
After each mock
- Sort every miss: knowledge gap, misread, or timing.
- Read the explanation for every miss, including questions you guessed right.
- Redo the missed questions in two days.
