SMLE Exam Dates, Registration and Result: Complete Guide
How SMLE testing windows work in 2025 and 2026, how to register and book through Mumaris Plus, where you can sit the exam, and how to check your result.

Once you understand the SMLE syllabus and fee, the next step is the practical logistics: when can you sit the exam, how do you register, and how do you check your result? This guide covers all three.
SMLE Exam Dates 2025 and 2026
Unlike the MDCAT, which is held on a single national date, the SMLE does not have one fixed annual date. Instead, SCFHS offers the exam across multiple testing windows spread throughout the year - for 2026, this has been reported as around 11 separate testing windows. This gives candidates considerably more flexibility to choose a date that fits their preparation timeline, rather than being locked into a single high-stakes annual sitting.
Because testing windows and specific dates are set and updated by SCFHS, always check the current schedule directly on the official SCFHS website or Mumaris Plus portal rather than relying on a previous year’s calendar.
How to Register for the SMLE (SMLE Exam Booking)
- Create an account on Mumaris Plus, SCFHS’s official online platform for applications, registration, and exam booking.
- Submit your eligibility application with your medical degree, internship/experience documentation, and any required verification.
- Once your eligibility is confirmed, select an available testing window and book your preferred exam date and location through the portal.
- Pay the exam fee through the official Mumaris Plus payment system (see our SMLE fee guide for cost details).
- Receive your confirmation and prepare for your scheduled test date.
Where Can You Take the SMLE?
The SMLE is delivered at authorised test centres, both within Saudi Arabia and at select international locations depending on current SCFHS arrangements. Availability of a Pakistan-based test centre can vary by cycle, so check the current list of approved test centres on the official SCFHS/Mumaris Plus portal when you book, rather than assuming a specific location is available.
How to Check Your SMLE Result
SMLE results are released through your Mumaris Plus account after your test date, following SCFHS’s standard processing timeline for that cycle. Log in to your account to view your scaled score (200–800) and whether you met the passing score of 500. Official results are not typically published anywhere outside your own Mumaris Plus account, so treat any other "result checker" site with caution.
What If You Don't Pass?
If you do not meet the passing score, you can generally register to retake the SMLE in a future testing window, subject to SCFHS’s current retake policy (which may include a minimum waiting period and a new registration fee). Use the gap to review your score report if available, identify which content areas were weakest, and concentrate your remaining preparation there rather than restarting from scratch.
