1. Local-First Storage
Aesthetix operates on a Local-First data architecture. This means:
- Zero Server Storage: HighYield does not maintain any databases or cloud storage for your personal photos, facial scans, or simulation results.
- On-Device Control: All images you upload and the simulations you create are stored exclusively in the private storage area of your smartphone.
- Data Deletion: If you delete the Aesthetix app or clear its data in your phone settings, all your information is permanently removed. We have no way to recover it for you.
2. Transient AI Processing
To provide high-fidelity AI simulations, Aesthetix must temporarily process your data through external high-performance computing environments.
- Primary Processor: Your data is securely transmitted to fal.ai for real-time AI inference.
- Downstream AI Models: To generate the highest quality results, processing may be routed to advanced generative models, including Google Gemini and other state-of-the-art vision models.
- Transient Nature: These third-party services receive your data solely for the purpose of performing the requested simulation. HighYield configures these requests to minimize data retention on these platforms.
3. Security & Encryption
Even though we do not store your data, we ensure its safety while it is in transit:
- Encrypted Transit: All data sent from your phone to our processing partners is protected by industry-standard TLS 1.3/SSL encryption, ensuring it cannot be intercepted by unauthorized parties.
- Secure API Handling: We use secure, authenticated API gateways to communicate with our AI infrastructure, adhering to the highest security standards for medical-adjacent technology.
4. Third-Party Links & Policies
While we ensure the security of the transmission, the processing of data by our partners is subject to their respective privacy policies. We encourage you to review the policies of fal.ai and Google regarding their AI services.
5. User Consent
By using Aesthetix, you explicitly consent to the transient transmission of your photos to our AI partners for the sole purpose of generating the simulations you request. You remain the sole owner of your original images.
